Safe AI that checks both ways
Navōn puts a filter in front of the AI and another behind it, on our servers, so what reaches you has been checked twice, on any device.
Most AI tools are built for the general public, and their safety depends on the model’s own judgment, which a determined user can often talk around. “Safe AI” should mean more than that: rules that live outside the conversation, apply to every tool, and can’t be switched off by the person using it.
Navōn is an AI platform built around that idea. It gives you the leading models, Claude, GPT and Gemini among them, for chat, pictures, video, voice and documents, and checks every request before it reaches a model and every answer before it reaches you. Parents and schools choose how strict it is and can see what was declined.

What makes AI safe
Checks outside the model
A model’s built-in refusals are a start, not a safeguard. Safety rules should run separately, where a clever prompt can’t reach them.
Input and output
Screen what is asked and what comes back. Navōn holds an answer until it passes, so a withheld answer is never seen half-written.
Fails closed
If the safety check can’t run, the request is refused rather than sent through unchecked.
Same on every device
Filtering that belongs to the account follows the person to a phone, a school laptop or a home computer.
Visibility for the responsible adult
A parent or school should be able to see what was asked and what was refused, and be told quickly about anything worrying.
Privacy
Your conversations shouldn’t train anyone’s model or be sold. Navōn’s don’t.
How Navōn keeps AI safe
- 1
Pre-check
Every request is read against the always-blocked categories and the account’s own settings before any model sees it.
- 2
Answer
The right model answers, chosen automatically or by you, guided by the account’s standards.
- 3
Post-check
Text and pictures are checked again before they’re shown; anything that doesn’t meet the standard is withheld.
- 4
Oversight and alerts
Parents and schools see activity and refusals; if a child writes something that suggests distress, their guardian is emailed within moments.
Safe AI compared with a general chatbot
| General-purpose chatbot | Navōn | |
|---|---|---|
| Safety rules | Inside the model | Separate checks before and after |
| Can the user switch it off | Often, with the right prompt | No: the checks run on Navōn’s servers |
| Answers checked | Rarely | Every answer, before it’s shown |
| If the check is down | Answers anyway | Refuses and asks to try again |
| Distress | Generic advice | Kind reply, and the guardian or school is emailed |
| Training on your chats | Sometimes, by default | Never |
Questions people ask
No filter is perfect, and we don’t claim otherwise. Navōn’s approach is to check both ways, outside the model, fail closed, and give an adult visibility, so mistakes are rare and seen.
